Washington Post Calls For Moratorium on Deportations of Lesbian and Gay Partners of U.S. Citizens

Our voices are being heard! The Stop The Deportations campaign now has the support of one of the most influential editorial boards in the United States. The Washington Post has been working on this editorial for a week, responding to Henry Velandia’s win of a reprieve from deportation on May 6 and the extraordinary action by the Attorney General in the Dorman case the day before. The Dorman case is the only time an Attorney General has ever intervened in the case of a deportation involving a gay binational couple.
